As we talked about yesterday, a leaked email would have revealed the date of the next beta, namely February 3. Well, obviously, the source was sure, since we learn that the beta of Battlefield Hardline will start this February 3, to end on February 8.
Update 07/02: The beta is extended and ends Tuesday February 10th.
The beta will even be fully open, and on all 5 media (PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One). It will therefore suffice to download the game to be able to play (Via Origin for PC, around 10 GB, and you can even preload the game from Monday, February 2, at 19 p.m.).
Beta content
Three game modes, on three maps, will be available.
- Hellish Pursuit
- Conquest
- Robbery
Available on the Downtown and Dusty Desert maps, you'll be driving cars at top speed.
The ultimate classic Battlefield mode, where up to 64 players can battle it out, on the Dust Desert map.
Another new game mode is emerging: Heist, where burglars must steal the contents of a bank and bring it to safety, and the police must do their job to stop them. Available on the Bank card.
All character progression will also be available, so it will be possible to try out all new weapons, vehicles, gadgets, etc.
In addition to that, another game mode, universal this one, will be available: Pirate mode. Similar in theory to Commander mode in Battlefield 4, a player from each team will have tools at their disposal to hack surveillance cameras, spot enemies, and give hints of areas to attack or defend.
Small bonus
Battlefield 4 players who participate in the beta will receive a special dogtag as a bonus:
See you next February 3. In any case, I would be! Do not hesitate to suggest meetings to find yourself in the game!
