Class quests
As you already know, regardless of the class you will take on FFXIV: ARR, you will have to complete a quest every 5 levels giving you gils, experience as well as a tool (primary or secondary ) and equipment.
Here is the list of quests to complete:
- Lv 1: 1 Copper Ingot
- Lv 5: 3 Copper Gorget
- Lv 10: 12 Copper Rings
- Lv 15: 1 Fang Earrings and 1 Brass Gorget
- Lv 20: 1 Stag Antler Stick set with a materia of your choice
- Lv 25: 1 HQ Silver Bar
- Lv 30: 1 HQ Malachite Earrings
- Lv 35: 1 Bough Of Fire HQ
- Lv 40: 1 HQ Horn Staff
- Lv 45: 1 Tiara In electrum (spinel) HQ and Tiara In electrum (amber) HQ and 1 Tiara In electrum (zircon) HQ
- Lv 50: 1 HQ Black Pearl Ring set with Piety Materia III

- Acts 1-5: Red Rooster farm - Bass Noscea
- Nv 10: The swift - Western wedding
- Nv 15: Port-aux-Ales - Western Noscea
- Nv 20: Quarry mill - Southern forest

Try to keep your gear up to date, the Goldsmith offers all the jewelry gear you need to increase your HP (craftsman mana). Regarding mandates, for me there is no better mandate in terms of ease of experience.
