With the release of the Heavensward expansion, a new way to harvest or craft has appeared: collectables.
At level 50, you get the New Collections quest from Mogayne. At the end of this quest, you gain the ability to collect. An action called Collector's glove for all land and collection followers Collectible Synthesis for all disciples of the hand.
You now have access to the Rowena's house of splendours, which will allow you to return your items collected or crafted under collector actions.
From level 56, you can collect items that will allow you to have Harvester's Blue Assignat ou Assigned blue craftsman. About the Assigned red, they will only be available from level 60.
The Assigned can be used to purchase equipment, as well as tomes to uncover hidden harvest points and Master Book III is for craftsmen.
The collectables in harvest
You are just starting to harvest and you are wondering how to get these famous items and, of course, where to find them?
Gathering collectables are items that are collected from intact or ephemeral Gathering Points. To do this, you will therefore need to have activated the Collector's glove, then perform a collection cycle to obtain a certain level and thus return it to Rowena's house for Assigned. I will offer you several cycles depending on the degree of collection as well as the number of objects you want to recover. For all cycles, we start on a basis of 600 PR.
For each of the points of collection, you will be entitled to 6 blows of ax or pickaxe to collect your object. You will therefore need to increase the value of your object in a minimum of blow.
When you have collected an item, a window appears to tell you the value of the item and whether you want to keep it collectable or otherwise keep it as a simple item.

There are still a lot of cycles, this is what I use the most.
Zuh has made a continuation of the video, with some of the cycles offered in this guide, it may be more explicit for you!
Sinner
Collectables for fishing are on another principle. In fact, the bigger the fish, the greater its collection value. You must also fish with the Collector's glove active.
Like when collecting an item, when you fish a collectible fish, a window appears to tell you the collection value, you choose whether to keep it or not. Indeed fishing is more subject to the random side of the game than for the botanist and the miner.
Collectables in crafts
For collectibles from the Main disciplines, the system is much simpler, since when you activate Collectable synthesis, you no longer increase the quality of the object but simply the collector's value. So the cycles for your items are the same as when crafting high quality items.
Happy harvest and craft!
