The Bosmers bring together all the tribes and elven clans of Western Woodland. Their skin can range from matte to tanned and some have totally black eyes.
The Imperials refer to them as the Wood Elves, but the latter prefer to call themselves "Bosmers" or " People of the Sap ».
The Bosmers do not follow the traditions of their Altmer cousins. They live a simple life in communion with nature.
They are agile and fast and are predisposed to professions of scouts or scouts
The Wood Elves are renowned for their archery skills. They have the best archers in all of Tamriel.
Among the elves, Bosmer means "People of the Woods"
Descendants for most of theformer Ayleid Clan, the Bosmers have a certain affinity with nature, and settled in the forests of southwest Tamriel during the Merethic Era, but with the fall of the Ayleid Empire they were gradually pushed back by Men of more and more enterprising.
The Wood Elves now only live in the province of Val-Boisé.
Their culture and beliefs lead them to perform ritualistic cannibalism among their own people as part of a ceremony related to "Green Pact". The Bosmers of Val Boisé respect all plants and therefore refrain from injuring them or feeding on them, they are exclusively carnivorous.
United by a common goal of reclaiming Cyrodiil from humans, the Bosmers have allied themselves with their cousins the Altmers led by the queen. Ayrenn as well as to the Khajiits in the year 582 of the Second Era to form the whole first Domaine Aldmeri.
