Are you tired of having to take off your gaming headset or having to take your controller with you because it is connected to your headset when you have to go to an urgent bathroom appointment?

The helmet arrives in a solid cardboard box and is fixed in a rigid cardboard mold as well, avoiding careless transport hiccups.
It comes with instructions, a wireless USB key and a much too short USB-C charging cable: only fifty centimeters.
The connection is simple: connect the USB key in the right mode (Xbox for Xbox and USB for other consoles, and PC), turn on the headphones and that's it!
Unfortunately, the first negative point will quickly present itself, since who says USB dongle, says that the helmet is not Bluetooth compatible, but uses radio waves. So, if you want a wireless solution for all your devices, smartphone included, you will have to look elsewhere... or wait for a possible evolution of this model.
The headset comes already charged, so head to my ugly noggin and off you go!
Being Xbox approved, it has been the most proven on Xbox Series X, but it remains just as effective in audio quality on PC or Playstation. And its weight is not large enough to weigh even during long hours of use. You will be able to use it for a long time thanks to the battery which exceeds 48 hours of use and which is not frills because the longevity is really impressive before having to recharge it.
Excellent point for anyone who wants to LAN a whole weekend without worrying about the battery of their headphones.
The microphone is unfoldable and activates as soon as it reaches a certain level of unfolding. It is also adjustable so as to bring it a little closer to the mouth. Nothing great because we tested headsets offering much more precise microphone position adjustment, but nothing shameful either in the case of the Stealth 600 Gen 2 MAX.
On the sound side, we are dealing with Dolby Atmos or Windows Sonic for its free alternative. The quality of the rendering is there, although I find it a little less efficient than the Lucid Sound LS10X tested on the same games that serve as my audio benchmark, starting with Overwatch.
So be careful, it is necessary to specify that I had a big quality concern on a game being tested at the same time: the very good Road 96. Without these headphones, the voices are normal. With another helmet, like the one mentioned above, the same. But with the Stealth 600 Gen 2 MAX, the character voices in this game become robotic. It's beyond understanding... It's the only game among those tested for which this problem occurs. All other games output sound normally, just like all other headsets I own output Road 96 sound correctly. And impossible to know at our level if it comes from the helmet or the game.
So don't be surprised at this result if you combine the two together. The ergonomic part of the headset would have deserved better consideration since all the controls are found at the back of the left ear and are very close together, whether it is the global volume wheel or the microphone volume wheel, the change of mode, or the On/Off button again. Some time of practice is necessary to find them blindly without touching the others. Luckily for the buttons, the headset emits auditory cues to let you know what settings you're activating. But then again, it's going to take some time to learn the matches if you're the type to switch profiles depending on the game.
Wearing the helmet is very comfortable and it camouflages external nuisances extremely well. I wouldn't go so far as to call the 600 GEN 2 MAX a noise canceling headset, but it's the only headset I've had in my hands that has given me such isolation from the outside world. Good point or not, it all depends on the situation in fact, but theoretically, it's a good thing.
Anyway, the Stealth 600 Gen 2 MAX will really shine and above all by its exceptional battery with good audio quality as a bonus, even at the end of the battery cycle. For a wireless headset, it's really a great achievement!
