Second guide, second harvesting profession: herbalism. The latter is linked to two other crafting trades: alchemy and calligraphy and as always this harvesting craft takes a long time to assemble it.
What does this consist of? To recover plants present on the ground. The mechanic will change a bit for the next update 5.3 for Pandaria players, as those who are not 500 in Herbalist will collect Plant Fragments on Herbs which combine together by 20 to have a full plant, while also giving a point of competence.
- Little tip: Remember to activate your search for plants with the small magnifying glass next to the mini-map. There are items like the Gnomish Army Knife, which gives your skill +10 points.
- Useful add-ons: Gathermate2: Allows you to memorize the places where plants appear, and works the same for minerals.
- Bonus: Lifeblood, which does minor healing and increases haste up to 2880 (at rank 9)

Once after learning the skill, you need to start looking for your first plants. These are the Pacifique, the Feuillargent and the Terrestrine. To do this, go to two areas to harvest as much as possible, Elwin Forest for the Alliance, Tirisfal Glades for the Horde. Mulgore would have been a good choice, but the area is too big to be profitable.

50 - 125: Companion
First of all, be sure to return to your master to learn the companion skill. Yes !! This is why the categories are divided like that. Magic, isn't it?
There, there is only one useful area to ascend his Herbalist's Shop that far: Hillsbrad Foothills. Yes !! Again her. This area is divided into two according to your level. Up to level 125, you have to be content with the red course. Once at 125, follow the yellow route to take the frozen herbs.

125 - 200 : Expert
Again, a visit to the skill master is essential. After that, it all now depends on the usefulness of your plants. If it's for calligraphy, I recommend Western Plaguelands. If you need plants for alchemy, then go to Feralas, because there are a number of plants for potions there, especially Dorépine.

200 - 275 : Artisan
We will soon enter Outland, but first, this is the most painful part of farming because it is very restrictive. You have two choices:
- If you have a flying mount, the best place: Les Milles Pointes
- If you don't have one, you can go anyway but it will be longer if not, Eastern Plaguelands. The only concern in this area is too much Khagdar mustache to climb quickly. But it remains a good area all the same.

Eastern Plaguelands
275-350: Master
Want a place to go fast and do it well, with lots of plants? I have the perfect place for you: Felwood. The trick is much the same as for mining and you will have at least 4 types of plants to have. And consider going to your master of the trade.
Hint: go to the Swamp of Sorrows before going to Outland to get a few more points.
Felwood
Outland here we are. Here, not long to search, because we have a profitable area: the forest of Terrokar. Remember to turn around the trees for the Teroconus.
Terrokar Forest
350-425: Grand Master
First of all, your master of the trade is your friend. Then, here we are in Northrend. The end of the journey and of the harvest too. I will divide this part into two areas to help you understand. First of all from 350 to 400, you will have to go to the Fjord. You'll see it's nice, there are walruses who talk and dwarves who drink.
Howling Fjord
Once at 400, head for the Sholazar Basin. Yes, this one again. It is a very popular place to farm for the three harvest trades anyway.
Basin de Sholazar
425-500: Illustrious Grand Master
Think above all of your master of the trade. Then, direction Hyjal. Start uprooting the big tree .... Oh no, we can't. Follow the course until you get to skill 475. Once above, it is less profitable.
Hyjal Summit
You succeeded ? Perfect, we're going down now, deep, very deep. On the way to Deepholm. Take advantage of the areas in the Northwest for with as many plants as possible.
Deepholm
500-600: Grand Master Zen
Come on, it's the last straight line, we go to the master of the trade. Pandaria here we are. You are going to hunt 4 plants. The most common is our starting point the green tea leaf. We are in the Jade Forest, and there ... the hunt begins.
Once at 525, walk along the river and chase the rain poppy, while continuing with the green tea leaves.
Jade Forest
Once you have reached 545 points, we leave the Jade Forest, towards the Valley of the Four Winds. There, it is a walk at the edge of the water that I suggest you to find silk grass. Two areas to be favored for this
Valley of the Four Winds
The home stretch, from 575 to the end. We will climb Kun-Lai Mountain in search of snow lilies. Always keep looking for green tea leaves, it always gets a few points.
Kun-Lai Summit
There you have it, you have just finished your job. It remains to be seen where are the interesting areas of specific rare plants. This will be the subject of another guide shortly.
But still a little bonus:
Farmer berluettes, it's here. Quiet. for information, consider looking at the desecrated herbs. Looks like it's no use, but you're very likely to have wagtails with it.
