Last week, Electronic Arts and Maxis made the surprise announcement of two kits for The Sims 4. "First Looks" was released two days later (Thursday, September 1) and is the subject of this article. "Luxury in the Desert" will arrive on September 14, so I'll talk about that later. Because I couldn't wait! As soon as my gamescom articles were finished, I of course eagerly relaunched the Sims to immediately discover the First Looks outfits.
You don't have to go far to test because all the content is accessible in the Create a Sim tool with a whole collection of outfits for children. Most are unisex, so I'll start with the three tops that are the only ones recommended for girls: a sleeveless sweater with a bow at the waist and two long sweaters, one with an integrated bag.
Then girls and boys share the others. So I tested on a little boy. On the program, many casual tops: loose sweater, t-shirt, hoodie and open jacket. The shades are pastel, with light and natural colors, very autumnal: orange, green, brown... Nothing that isn't flashy. Even the orange remains discreet.
The whole between the top and the bottom is ensured thanks to the colors and the patterns which harmonize. Isn't he cute in camouflage?
Or here with this jogging whose logo on the jacket is the same as that of the pants.
Of course, there's nothing stopping you from mixing it all up. Class, no, the little sleeveless jacket?
He looks very proud in his hoodie:
On the other hand, the t-shirt is really not his thing. He closes his eyes. However, I really like the effect on the front, tucked into the pants.
Little else to say about this kit with outfits that will appeal to young Sims who like a casual look, whether for everyday life, school or outings with friends. You will find the pack for €4,99 on your favorite platform, Steam or Origin if you play on PC like me, or PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
