We'll have the pleasure of exploring an Imperial guild ship for our Share Your Fortresses column! To do this, we will join the guild Phoenix's on Mantle of the Force, for a quick tour of their ship: theAtlantis. Who better than its owners to talk about a ship? I let them speak. The visit is also possible in video for those who would prefer! Small difference however, the members of the guild appear in the photos but not in the video? Watching the two remains complementary!
Good visit !
Hello and welcome aboard theAtlantis, Imperial Slayer-class battleship, symbol of the might of the Empire, and flagship of the Phoenix's guild
Follow the guide for the tour.
First of all, let's get to the catwalk ...
As you can see, a building of this size requires a number of crew members and workstations to operate.
The cockpit has galaxy maps for navigation and scanners. All this little world is run from the Imperator's chair. Sith assistance can of course be brought in through the Dread Altars.
Processing capacity is provided by a set of data cores and transformers.
Continue the visit and head towards the "officers' bridge". The road passes through a small relaxing garden with a fountain.
This relaxation area does not suggest anything about the future, because once the elevator has been taken, we discover a relaxation and catering room allowing to attend duels under the watchful eye of the master, perched on his throne.
Let's go back to the catwalk and discover this utility room that brings together Jawa merchants, crafting droids, Galactic Market, appearance editor, and bunkers. A jukebox allows you to take care of current affairs with a little atmosphere.
Let’s brave the Massassis guards and explore the different floors.
Let's start with the command bridge. There, discover this room in gray tones and not gray (although…). Proudly in the central place, the hypergate is surrounded by protected data cores and irregularities.
Let's go and see on our left where the throne room is located. There, after having taken the alley lined with a statue of our all-powerful emperor, the guild leader is waiting for us well installed on her seat, perched and surrounded by two bulging masassis that seem inconvenient.
Let's leave this room and go to the one opposite to be greeted by a hedge of datacrons overlooking the officers' offices (yes, if I swear we are working there!).
Let's finish this floor with the back room. Behind this door guarded by two massassis are the personal quarters of the officers. These consist of luxurious beds, storage cabinets, and a beautiful central table for a small meal between chefs (no non-ranks here).
Let's change floors and move on to the crew deck. After the main door, our gaze is drawn to an interesting light panel on our right.
This door leads to… the cantina! The most important room of all if we can say that the power of an army depends on its morale. And here morale is well treated: game tables, slot machines, Twi'lek dancers and dancers, and tables for a drink served by the barman at the back of the room.
If a customer has drunk too much, he can go to the room opposite where our infirmary is located. It is equipped to treat any emergency that arises, whether it is a cut when raising his weapon, serious burns inflicted by an apprentice who does not control his flashes or an alcoholic coma. Here you will be looked after by our team of qualified nurses led by the head doctor well installed in his office.
Back in the main hall, staff can relax under paintings representing the jubilant Sith worlds or have a bite to eat under the freezing eyes of unwanted visitors hanging on the wall.
By taking the passage on your left, you will discover the members' dormitory. Although this room may seem spartan due to the high number of berths (yes there are many), it is nonetheless comfortable and practical.
Right next door is a small bazaar where Trandoshan mercenaries will be happy to provide you with ammunition (for an unbeatable price).
In the corridor opposite is the trophy room made up of various holocrons, sarcophagi, skulls, and statues collected here and there.
The adjoining room takes us into a dark jungle where a rakata out of Belsavis prays and has chosen to join us with his brothers.
Back to the elevator, let's now explore the hangars. Don't be frightened by the family of tanks installed in the Calcinis and Storm-Storm corridor surrounding their little brother Avalanche.
Let's start with the port hangar. There is parked a magnificent Fury-class ship flanked by a half-squadron of Imperial drones and an armed Jurgoran-class ship. In a corner of the hangar are installed a CNK orbital repairer for emergency repairs as well as a capsule for exterior inspections.
In the starboard hangar are installed two imperial shuttles allowing the disembarkation of the troops. Around them, parked, awaits the rest of the Phoenix's flotilla including the other half of the drone squadron, two Legion bombers, and another armed vessel. You will also notice the presence of two Republican Flash scouts serving for infiltration and espionage missions.
Let's end our visit with the engine room. In this place which offers a magnificent view of the building's reactor, between the consoles and the workbench you may possibly come across a specimen of Hydralix resting.
That ends this guided tour, hoping you enjoyed it. We look forward to seeing you again during an operation or during one of our fleet celebrations. Don't forget the guide!
What I took away from this visit : as a large guild ship and with many parts, it is from this point of view often quite difficult to find diversity in the themes of the parts or originality, yet here it is successful! The bridge is ready for command with its more than numerous computers, its throne and its star charts. To limit myself to the essentials, I will just give the rooms that I preferred, the first being the small garden, refreshing, and the second but not the least: the officers' dormitory, very pleasant for my taste! Oh of course ... as a good follower of Galactic Starfighter, I really liked the hangars full of fighters! I have to say that this is, it seems to me, the first time I have had the opportunity to see such a full guild ship hangar!
You can find this guild ship as a public list on Mantle of the Force. I urge you to do so to admire all the little imperceptible details on the photo.
