Let's continue the tour of the changes announced for 5.2 with this second article on the changes made to the distribution of equipment in operations.
Perfect Eric Musco sourceHello everyone,
If you haven't read already, I highly recommend that you read the information about Tier 4 equipment (see our translation here) to learn more about this new Tier. With this addition, we're making some changes to the rewards in operation. We are aware of the desire of high-level PvE players to equip themselves as a priority for operations.
The first change in this objective is to restore a specific unassembled piece of equipment for each operation boss in the game (except Golden Fury and Colossal Monolith). This means that, when you kill an Operation Boss, you will know exactly what item to expect and you can plan to go to a specific boss if you are looking for a particular room. Go to the bottom of the page with the spoilers for the full list of parts per boss.
The second change is that bosses will no longer have a random chance to drop an unassembled piece of gear. Each boss in 8 player mode will give 1 coin and the last will give 2; values doubled respectively to 2 and 4 in 16 player mode. Formerly, with 5.1, bosses only had one chance to drop a piece of gear.
The third change is the introduction of the new Third Party. We needed to make sure that players had a way to get this set of gear in operation. This is all the more important as this third of equipment will be necessary to eliminate Tyth and the future bosses of Operation Machine Gods as well as the other bosses of operations in master mode. Here is the principle of equipment distribution:
For operations that already exist (tier 1 is no longer obtained in operation):
- Legendary Tier 2 - Story Mode
- Legendary Tier 3 - Veteran Mode
- Tiers 4 prototype and artifact - Master mode (non-final bosses)
- Legendary Tier 4 - Master Mode (Final Bosses)
For the Machine Gods operation:
- Tier 3 - Story Mode
- Tier 4 - Veteran Mode
As you can see, many changes will take place in operation with the arrival of 5.2. Let us know what you think.
