PvP is in the spotlight this week, so we'll be talking about the arena. Dome of Carnage and I know you are all anxious to learn a little more about this particular game mode in WildStar.
Origin of the arena
The Dome of Carnage is a famous Marauder arena where the toughest individuals in the galaxy come to compete to show what they've got in their stomachs. Numerous concrete walls and other obstacles stand in this perilous pit surrounded by metal grids and barbed wire, and where every match turns into a bloody battle for survival! The Dome of Carnage is home to the worst villains and most crooked crooks on this side of the Border and is the perfect place for an old-fashioned slaughter, as long as you're on the winning team!
Prince
Your team should be made up of 2, 3 or 5 players. There will be no obligation of composition such as a classic trinity (Tank, Heal, DPS), players can freely build their teams as they want. The principle is that each team has a certain vies name. With each death the counter decreases, this makes an arena more strategic. Are you bothered by a tank? Ignore him to kill the healer in order to lower the life meter! The principle is therefore to have the free choice to target this or that player and not to have to kill first the tank, then the heal, then the DPS ...
A 30-minute time limit prevents matches from dragging on.
Ranking and awards
Nothing new concerning the classification system, it is based on the traditional ELO which assigns a cote based on your wins and losses. Pieces ofPvP gear can be obtained by practicing these arenas, but it will be specific to this game mode. It will therefore be compulsory to practice these arenas to obtain it, in the interests of fairness.
