If you like to run without ever stopping, Tomb Raider Relic Run is definitely for you! This new adventure game, released on May 29 on mobile, takes the heroic Lara Croft on a new thrilling adventure that combines 3 genres: runner, shooting and motorcycle racing!
When I launch the game for the first time, a few screens involve me in the story.
For the runner part, as in all games of this style, the principle is simple: the character runs without stopping straight ahead and it is up to us to avoid obstacles. To do this, Lara can slide on the ground, jump, climb walls, or turn right and left.
The objective at each level is to obtain as many clues as possible to fill the gauge and advance in our investigation. Of course, as otherwise it would be too simple, it should be done while collecting the maximum number of coins and by accomplishing the greatest distance. A hell of a challenge because the road is particularly rugged.
So, when you die (and expect to die often), an Ankh helps save Lara. And if you don't want to pay, then it stops and a score board is displayed.
In addition, the shooting game aspect is added asking to eliminate various enemies to free the passage. And when Lara is tired of running, she gets on a vehicle: ATVs, motorcycles or quads!
Free, the game includes micro-transactions to buy gems that can be acquired in small quantities by watching videos.
Personally, I still have a bit of a hard time with this style of play, not being skilled enough with both hands to pull off properly. But if you like this genre, you should give it a try! It's free and pretty nice:
