Here we are, level 60! Anyway, it's fine to be there, but if your equipment leaves something to be desired, you won't be of much use. This is why I will help you to make your equipment. There are three ways to get gear: Tokens, Loot, and Awards.
Tokens and loot
Tokens are tokens that you only get when operating on bosses. They allow you to exchange it for a piece of equipment, with a set bonus for pieces of armor. There are different levels of tokens, depending on the difficulty mode: Resurrected tokens for index 192 gear (in Story mode) and Revanite tokens for index 198 gear (in Hard mode).
To find out which bosses they fall on, I refer you to the Geofraynils article which made a nice table of loots on the two new level 60 operations.
Some bosses drop pieces of equipment whose index varies according to the difficulty:

Distinctions
To buy equipment, it is also possible to use distinctions but these have undergone some changes in 3.0. In fact, the Planetary (below 50) and Classic (level 50) distinctions have merged with the Basics. We will therefore see what the distinctions are used for and how to obtain them.
Basic Distinctions
- What's the point ?
- How to get them?
The basic distinctions having replaced the classical and planetary distinctions, they play the same role. Indeed, they allow you to buy equipment and modifications during your leveling up in the Reserves part of the fleet (the prices remain unchanged) and when you reach level 50.
You can also buy PvE gear of index 162 at level 55 on Rishi (the prices are reduced by 40 accolades).
Anyway, what interests us is the level 60 equipment. You have at your disposal the PvE equipment of index 186 (Yavin) at the Reserves level, but this time on the other side of the zone. .
First of all, you can get basic distinctions on any enemy, but it will take a little luck. You can also get it in Tactical and Solo Flashpoints for 2 distinctions per boss in Tactical and 1 in Solo.
It is also possible to exchange your War Zone distinctions for Basic distinctions at the rate of 1 Basic for 40 War Zone distinctions.
Here's a recap of the repeatable missions that earn you Basics.
