I introduce myself: Warez from the Imperium guild on the Mantle of the Force server on the Republic side (and formerly at the Dark Hand). I offer you this guide to show you my vision of the Combat specialization.
Having played Surveillance for a long time in the footsteps of my master Yodhelnir to compete with him, I was very quickly attracted by the gameplay of the Combat specialization which, from my point of view, is more incisive and less monotonous, in particular thanks to to effects activations (procs).
Summary:
Talent tree
7/36/3
I will not go into details, it is a rather classic tree, some points can be questionable.
On the Monitoring tree side, focus on the two points on the Merciless zeal on single-target bosses, to have self-healing and to benefit from the double trigger on your Concentrated Punishment relic (the relic triggers twice, on attacks and on healing). Redeem these points tree side Concentration on Reinforced Winds on the bosses where you have an attribution on the enemies in addition.
On the Combat tree side, the two points of Promptness can be inverted on theDefensive asset.

Caps (Cork)
- Stamina> Accuracy (100%)> Potency> Surge (75%)> Critical (25%)
Accuracy: 101.05% Three Sophistications, I passed the 100% level in precision for the simple reason that it is more profitable than two Precision / Power sophistications and one Power / Surge. I had the proof after many and many tests on the pole.
Critical: 124 of critical index, Full 78 it becomes profitable at least to put a sophistication Critique / Surge, which would be equivalent to a critical index of 62.
What remains in full Power / Surge.

Cycle and priorities
Here is a small illustrated lexicon, which will show you in pictures the icons of the attacks described below.
Lexicon
Accuracy slot
elimination
Flurry of Blades
Timely attack
Storm of Blades
Twin saber throwing
Cauterization
Relentless strike
The most complex part of Sentinel Combat mostly depends on resetting the delay of the Accuracy slot and its management. It resets thanks to the Hand of Justice which has a 45% chance to proc under Ataru Form damage and allows you to use your next one for free Elimination on a target regardless of its health level (this even gives you 1 point of concentration thanks to the talent Concentrated lunge). This effect is only available every 20 seconds.
Thanks to your successful melee attacks which have a 20% chance to trigger the damage of the Ataru form, stacking with the Flood of Blades which has a 30% increased chance to trigger your Ataru Form.
It is therefore necessary to maintain the Flood of Blades which lasts 6 seconds which has a 30% chance of triggering theTimely Attack which grants 100% criticism on your Storm of Blades (it sometimes happens that it does not fire, start anyway your Storm of Blades under the Accuracy slot, she will critically about 7400).
And so with all of this, you have a better chance of triggering the Hand of Justice.
Under your Accuracy slot, when you don't have theElimination, use your Twin Saber Throw, it's free and it also saves you a bit of your concentration. Also useful below 30% if you do not have enough concentration to launch your Elimination.
Incorporate the Cauterization in your cycle when you are waiting for the cooldown of your Accuracy slot, as often as possible depending on your priorities, around 7% damage gain with burns. Personally, I put it most often after or before a Relentless Strike.
I will first show you a cycle that works "almost" all the time when entering combat.

Flood of Blades
Not necessarily in that order according to your reuse times.
Then during the fight
Your cooldown of the Expert Strike will shift from your Zen. If you know you are 20 seconds after a Accuracy slot which was triggered under Hand of Justice, send your Zen on (the cooldown of the Expert Strike which is 30 seconds is a good indicator, when you have about 5 seconds left on the Expert Strike, it's time!) :
Zen
Accuracy slot
Blade Storm under Timely Attack
Twin saber throwing
Flurry of Blades
You may then have the chance to trigger your Accuracy slot thanks to the Hand of Justice and to link directly to:
Accuracy slot
Expert Strike which will still benefit from one or two Zen stacks and will reset your Zen cooldown on your Expert Strike
elimination
Blade Storm under Timely Attack
Important tipe
The animation time of the Expert Strike lasts 3 seconds, when in reality the last hit is given at 2.6 seconds. Under Zen, the channeling of Expert Strike lasts 2,31 seconds; that's why when there are 0.4 seconds left on the cast bar, you can cut it with another spell, down to 1.91 seconds.
This trick saves 0,4s per number of Expert Strike on a fight and never miss a shot under the window of the Accuracy slot.
