New game, new guides! Overwatch is no exception to the rule, and Blizzard's latest addition will be scrutinized. Without further ado, we attack the Australian Bodyguard: Chopper!
Chopper is a ruthless assassin with a well-deserved reputation for cruelty and wanton destruction.
Mako Rutledge is one of the many inhabitants of the Australian interior whose land has been seized and used for the construction of an omnium. But following the Omnium crisis, the government made the questionable choice to offer these lands to the omniacs who had nearly destroyed their country, in the hope of establishing a long-term peace treaty. This deal permanently displaced Mako and a large number of area residents: a scattered group of survivalists, solar farmers and people who just wanted to be left alone.

Furious at having lost their home, Mako and the other residents revolted violently. They formed the Australian Liberation Front and attacked the Open and its robot population to take back the land that had been stolen from them. Things only got worse until one day the FLA sabotaged the Omnium's reactor core, which eventually exploded and destroyed the Omnium, irradiating the entire area and scattering twisted pieces of metal and debris all over the place. for miles around.
Mako could only watch his home become an apocalyptic wasteland, and he was forever changed.
To adjust to his new surroundings, he donned a mask and set off to roam the crumbling highways of the interior of the country on his dilapidated motorbike. Little by little, he lost all humanity and the last vestiges of the Mako of yesteryear disappeared to make way for Chopper.

gameplay
Offensively
In attack, Chopper will have a role of disruptor, that is to say that his job will be to create panic in the opposing ranks, in order to force positioning errors. No one is immune from its devastating combo. Its main objective is to take out priority targets using its Tracker (MAJ. G.) and kill them quickly. You will often be alone, know how to manage your life points using your Inhaler (IS) !
Defensively
In defense, it is easy for Chopper to know where the opponents will come from, and therefore to anticipate his Trackers (MAJ. G.) in order to prevent pushes by killing them in the bud. If, despite everything, your line of defense is broken, your Squarer (A) will be able to clean up, not to mention the immense threat this represents for your opponents' life points!
Synergies & cons
Chopper is a hero who will have a good synergy with the heroes who can increase his damage, but also those who can easily do damage to his victims on whom he will have grappled. Chopper therefore works particularly well with Ange, who can easily charge her ultimate while Chopper takes damage. The latter will suffer particularly in the face of heroes capable of placing shields, preventing him from attracting his targets to him. Hard to catch targets like Tracer will give him a twist, because even if he touches with Tracker (MAJ. G.), the English agent will always be able to escape before suffering the deadly combo. Finally, his big large size will make him an easy target for snipers and other shooters like McCree ou 76 Soldier, who will be happy to charge their ultimates by ducking you!
