Hop, October 26! We're still immersed in the Halloween event in Guild Wars 2: Shadow of the Mad King!
Each day of this event will have the right to its little summary in the evening with all the information that we were able to recover during the day.
So today is the fourth day of act I which will take place from 23 to 26 October. So let's see the content of this fourth day of celebration!

First act: October 26
Today I will wrap up the information of this Act I so that you have the most baggage to complete this on time.
Know that around 21 p.m., Act II will take place in Guild Wars 2! I will therefore be sure to write you a nice little article for tomorrow, October 27, to explain what is going on IG.
So let's see the points we are going to address today, thank you to those who helped me! ?
Haunted Doors
What is the secret of these mysterious gates that appear all over Tyria? If you have the courage, knock on one of these Halloween portals and find out what is behind… You will be entitled to some candy or… A monstrous creature to fight!
Interacting with a door will produce one of the following three results:
- Spawn a monster.
- A Dynamic Event will be launched
- A bag of candy will appear through the door and be thrown on the ground. You can then recover it.
There are many places where these doors activate, they reappear every 2/3 minutes:
The queen's valley
Kesse hills
Gendarran Fields
By the way, the best location to farm mobs is in the Champs de Gendarran, south-east of TP Provern Shore. Many players meet at the top of the hill to farm the 3 portals. If you succeed in tagging the mobs with your area spells and the group of players is large enough in ~ 1 hour of time you succeed in validating the success of the 150 mobs to kill.
Monsters
Among all the monsters that can come out of these doors, you will find:
- Candy elementals
- Gargoyles
- Phosphorescent skeletons
- Phosphorescent spiders
- Skeletons
- Mummies
- Plastic spiders
So shake with fear and get out your plastic guns! : p

Dynamic events triggered by doors
- Defeat the strange enemy coming from the haunted gate
- Defeat the strange enemies coming from the haunted gate
► For this first event you will have a single enemy to beat from the list of enemies mentioned above.
► Regarding the second event, you will have several enemies to beat including a veteran. This event exists in a basic candy, gargoyle, skeleton or spider version.

Pumpkin carver
You will find gourds and pumpkins all over the kingdom. As you approach them, you can sculpt them (F) to unlock a new achievement.
Remember that success is linked to the account. You can therefore make the sculptures on your different characters. The pumpkins reappear each time you decorate / recce or change overflow server / your original server. Could it boost your pumpkin production a bit ...?
Achievement: Pumpkin Carving
There are 4 levels to overcome in the size of pumpkins.
- Tier 1: 1 pumpkin
- Tier 2: 25 pumpkins
- Tier 3: 75 pumpkins
- Tier 4: 150 pumpkins
After 150 (ie level 4/4), a PnJ informs you that you have unlocked the related title: "Master sculptor".
Hint: Press CTRL while moving forward, you will see the pumpkins from a distance! ?
